At Humble ISD, Hispanic and Latino as well as white students make up equal parts of the student population at 36.3%. African American students are the next largest student population, accounting for 21.4% of students. HISD celebrated the opening of Centennial Elementary School, the district’s 29th elementary school, in August. As a result, elementary school feeder schools were adjusted for the 2020-21 year.
