Lone Star College System officials announced via Facebook Friday afternoon that all properties would remain closed through the weekend. Individuals are asked to avoid campuses unless helping with cleanup efforts.
However, those who have vehicles on an LSC property can call 281-290-5911 for assistance, officials said. Classes will resume Monday, Sept. 23.

Due to inclement weather from Tropical Depression Imelda, several Lone Star College System satellite campuses are closed Thursday, Sept. 19, such as LSC-Kingwood, LSC-Atascocita, LSC-EMCID in New Caney, LSC-Process Technology Center in Houston, LSC-Conroe Center and LSC-Montgomery in The Woodlands. Currently, no other Lone Star College campuses have been closed.

In addition to LSC, both Humble ISD and New Caney ISD also closed schools on Thursday.
