Construction on new Waffle House in Kingwood is projected to be complete in December, according to a Sept. 29 filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The roughly $300,000 project includes the construction of a new 1,840-square-foot facility, per the filing. The restaurant will be located near Dunkin' and Quick Quack Car Wash in Kingwood.

Waffle House boasts a menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner items including waffles, omelets, hash browns, burgers, pork chops and pies, according to the company's website. The company has more than 2,000 locations across the Midwest, Northeast and South.
