As previously reported by Community Impact Newspaper, The Highlands is a 2,310-acre master-planned community by Caldwell Companies slated to bring 4,000 homes to Porter upon build-out.
According to the release, The Highlands-Encore Collection will feature 18 homes in the first golf course section, which will be designed for active adult homebuyers age 55 and older. The low-maintenance, one-story homes will be available in 12 floor plans ranging from 1,600-2,700 square feet and situated on 45- to 55-foot homesites.
The Highlands-Encore Collection will include an exclusive clubhouse with a dedicated lifestyle director to plan day-to-day activities and social events. Community residents will also have access to a slate of amenities offered by The Highlands, ranging from a resort-style pool with a lazy river to on-site lakes with fishing and kayaking.
In addition to its Encore Collection, David Weekly Homes also recently announced it would be bringing its Imagination Collection to The Highlands this fall. The Highlands-Encore Collection is slated to begin selling in late 2021, the release states.
