The COVID-19 testing site that was scheduled to open June 8-11 and June 13 at Turner Stadium in Humble has been canceled, according to a June 7 email from Joe Stinebaker, the director of communications for Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Jack Cagle’s office.

Stinebaker said the testing site has been canceled due to Humble ISD's plans to deep clean the stadium. Stinebaker did not immediately respond to questions of whether the site will be relocated or postponed to a later date.

HISD Chief Communications Officer Jamie Mount confirmed via email that Turner Stadium will not be a testing site. She said disinfection is occurring at Humble High School, which shares a site with Turner Stadium.
