Houston Food Bank to distribute food, cleaning supplies to Humble area

The Houston Food Bank continues its mission to provide food to families during the coronavirus with its Mega Distribution Event to the Humble area May 20.

The Houston Food Bank in partnership with AlEn, a Houston-based cleaning and laundry supply company, will distribute food and cleaning supplies from near the George Bush Intercontinental Airport on May 20.


The Houston Food Bank intends to provide food to 7,500 cars on May 20, while AlEn is donating more than 40,000 bottles of cleaning and laundry care projects, according to a news release from LFD Communications.

Houston Food Bank's Mega Distribution Event takes place from 2-8 p.m. at Bush IAH EcoPark lot at 16152 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Houston.
