The Whisper Chair co-owner Guy Jeanes said the upscale barbershop opened in January and has plans to hold a grand opening event May 1.
During the grand opening, Whisper Chair plans to hold a ribbon-cutting at 7 p.m. with live music and offer craft cocktails and premium cigars for purchase.

The Whisper Chair is operated alongside his wife, Mitzi Jeanes, and his partner, Ryan McCullough, alongside his wife, Jaime McCullough.
With an atmosphere that takes customers back in time with music from the '20s-'40s, Guy Jeanes said the business was inspired by the nonprofit Humble Whiskey Club. The nonprofit was founded by five members including Guy Jeanes in 2019 and supports various community causes.
