Sprouts Farmers Market officials will host a grand opening celebration for the company's new grocery store in Kingwood in mid-April.

According to information on the store's website, the grand opening celebration will span three days in accordance with the following schedule:

  • April 17
    • 6:45 a.m.: Ribbon-cutting ceremony
    • 7 a.m.: Doors open; the first 200 in-store shoppers receive a free reusable tote; the first 400 customers receive a free long-stem rose courtesy of Falcon Farms Floral
    • 7 a.m.-5 p.m.: Pop-up party featuring samples out front and a scavenger hunt
  • April 18
    • 7 a.m.: Doors open; the first 200 in-store shoppers receive a free reusable tote
    • 7 a.m.-5 p.m.: Pop-up party featuring samples out front and a scavenger hunt
  • April 19
    • 7 a.m.: Doors open
    • 9 a.m.-4 p.m.: Pop-up party featuring samples out front and a scavenger hunt
The Kingwood location was first announced in March 2025 and was previously expected to open in early 2026 before being pushed to this spring.

As previously reported by Community Impact, Sprouts offers fresh, natural and organic food with products that cater to a range of dietary needs, including gluten-free, plant-based and non-GMO products.

Based in Phoenix, the company employs approximately 35,000 team members and operates more than 450 stores in 24 states nationwide, according to information on the Sprouts website.
