Renovations to add a canopy to the pick-up area at Target in New Caney began in August, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing.

The Target store is located within Valley Ranch Town Center. At the store, shoppers can enjoy features such as drive-up order pickup, a CVS pharmacy, a Starbucks location and electric vehicle charging stations.
Officials said the store has remained open throughout the project, noting construction on the new canopy is expected to wrap up in September.
