The city of Katy continues to work on street project renovations on Bartlett Street between Hwy. 90 and 10th Street.

The crown on the centerline was lowered by three inches and repaved, Katy Mayor Pro Tem Chris Harris said.

Lines will be painted on the repaved street in the next few weeks to complete the $42,227.95 project, Harris said.

Lowering the street will help with flood mitigation because the water was flowing into residents' yards, he said.
