MAP: Here’s how much rainfall Katy area received from Tropical Depression Imelda


Tropical Depression Imelda dumped more than 42 inches of rain in parts of the Greater Houston area, but the Katy area did not receive as much precipitation, according to the Harris County Flood Warning System.

The Katy area received between 1.24 inches and 5.32 inches of rainfall between 7:30 a.m. Sept. 19 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 20, according to the FWS.
