Danny Casino and Lori Pope, who are siblings, will open Harvest Kitchen & Bakery in mid-June at 21971 Katy Freeway, Katy, said Pope, who is the chef de cuisine.
The restaurant serves a breakfast and lunch menu with items such as chicken and waffles; pork belly huevos rancheros; and acai, oatmeal and yogurt bowls. All items—including artisan bread, waffles and tortillas—are made from scratch. Harvest Kitchen & Bakery also offers a vegetarian menu and can adapt recipes to adjust for dietary restrictions.
Pope plans to expand the restaurant's services to include private chef dinners for specialty diets, such as keto, vegan, sugar-free, gluten-free and vegetarian. 281-396-4727. www.harvestkitchenbakery.com
