The 46,000-square-foot venue includes 12 indoor Batting Bays that allow players to simulate batting in any MLB stadium, according to a press release. Each bay features a large screen, five TVs and space for up to 12 people.
Home Run Dugout’s Biergarten Baseball mini-field will offer open play for Wiffleball or kickball on a first-come, first-served basis. It will eventually host league play, Dinger Derby tournaments, movie nights and concerts.
The venue also features a full-service restaurant with ballpark-inspired fare, concert stage and three bars. A patio and biergarten wrap around the mini-field, with seating for nearly 500 people. A private event space including its own bar and two Batting Bays can fit up to 65 guests.
While the first Home Run Dugout opened in Round Rock in 2019, the Katy location is the first full-scale standalone Home Run Dugout venue.
