Overall, the number of homes sold in Katy- and Fulshear-area ZIP codes stayed consistent in January compared to January 2023.

Five of eight local ZIP codes saw increases, while the remaining three declined; however, 479 homes were sold locally in January versus 478 in the same time the year prior.Overall, the average number of days homes spent on the market declined in most ZIP codes, but increased by more than 23% in the 77423, 77441 and 77450 ZIP codes.Meanwhile, the median home sales price remained pretty balanced year over year in local ZIP codes. Most changes were within 10% of last year's home sales price. The biggest decline was in ZIP code 77094 near the Energy Corridor, which saw the biggest drop in the sales price by more than 39%.
