Jaggers, a fast-casual restaurant from Texas Roadhouse founder Kent Taylor, will open its first Houston-area location this summer in Grand Morton Town Center.

The Katy location is now hiring for both full- and part-time positions, restaurant officials announced in an April 28 news release. Applicants who are at least 16 years old can apply in-person in the businesses’ parking lot Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. or online at the restaurant’s website.

On the menu

The menu will feature numerous burgers and sandwiches, such as the green chile cheeseburger, sunrise burger, mushroom Swiss burger and a California grilled chicken sandwich, according to its website. Additionally, patrons can partake in a blue cheese burger salad or berry fresh salad.

Guests can also enjoy milkshakes in a variety of flavors, including banana split, chocolate chip cookie and Ghirardelli brownie, per the website.

Zooming out

The eatery opened its first location in Indiana in 2014, with locations expanding to Kentucky, Texas and North Carolina, according to its website. The Katy location will be the second Texas location following Longview’s opening in 2023.

“We’re so excited to introduce our authentic scratch-made chicken sandwiches, burgers and salads to Katy-Morton Ranch,” Houston owner Keith Sullins said in the release. “We look forward to engaging with the community and supporting local efforts.”
