The Lone Star Symphonic Band is preparing for its 31st concert season commencing this October.

The Katy-based nonprofit volunteer organization has performed for the Houston metropolitan area since 1993. The band is directed by Bob Bryant.

Those interested can purchase season tickets for $32 each, encompassing all five performances of this year's concert season. Alternatively, individual concert tickets are available at $7 each. Concerts begin at 4 p.m. and are all scheduled at the Holy Covenant United Methodist Church located at 22111 Morton Road in Katy.

The scheduled performances are as follows:
  • Oct. 8: “It’s Fall, Y’all!”
  • Dec. 10: “Behold the Star”
  • Feb. 25: “How’s Your Heart”
  • May 5: “Fiesta”
  • June 30: "Bold Stripes, Bright Stars, Brave Hearts"
