Pittsburgh-based Vocelli Pizza is set to open its first Houston location in Katy, officials announced in a Dec. 16 news release.

On the menu

The pizzeria will offer a full halal menu featuring pizza, salad, subs, stromboli and pastas, according to its website. The eatery also offers several dessert options including gelato, cannolis and cookies as well as cinnamon rolls and breadsticks.

"There is a clear demand for high-quality Halal pizza and delivery options, and we are proud to meet that need while bringing our brand to a new and dynamic market," CEO Toni Bianco said in the release.
