A new location of Cooking Girl at 1717 Montrose Blvd., Houston, is in its soft opening phase, with a grand opening date still in the works.

Menu items range from an assortment of appetizers—including red dumplings and meat spring rolls—to dessert items, such as crystal jelly and ice cream. The main menu also includes items, such as tea smoking duck, Sichuan mixed seafood, yellow stone pork and duck bamboo soup.

During the soft opening phase, the restaurant is open Monday-Sunday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and 4-9 p.m.
