The Houston-founded, female-focused coworking firm SheSpace is now open at the Lower Heights development at 2799 Katy Freeway, Ste. 250, according to a Nov. 30 announcement.
The business offers multiple membership tiers, ranging from events-only access up to dedicated office suites.
The 6,000-square-foot space offers desk, office and conference room rentals; fitness classes; and a podcast studio, along with services supporting women entrepreneurs, including mothers support rooms, mentoring programs and educational opportunities. SheSpace also has an on-site bookshop and pop-up featuring products from women-led businesses.
The inmate population at the Harris County Jail is rising, and officials are looking for ways to quickly ease the pressure as concerns grow over the ability to quarantine and restrict the spread of the coronavirus.
