In a bid to help sustain The Dunlavy, 3422 Allen Parkway, Houston, for the summer, Clark Cooper Concepts opened the new pop-up concept Daddy's Burgers on May 29.

The laid-back concept will remain open through at least Labor Day. It offers$8 grass-fed beef burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, milkshakes, cocktails and local beers in frozen mugs.

For breakfast, Daddy's will serve up burgers, tacos and beignets.

“We are always working on 5-7 small, medium and large box concepts to diversify the portfolio of Clark Cooper Concepts," co-founder Grant Cooper said in a news release. "During this COVID-19 phase, we decided Daddy’s Burgers was the perfect small box concept to pop-up at The Dunlavy since we are unable to host our typical private events.”

The restaurant will take over The Kitchen at The Dunlavy, which has been closed since March 23, for the duration of the popup.

Hours of operation are Mon.-Thu. 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Fri. 11 a.m.- 9 p.m., Sat. 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sun. 9 a.m.-8 p.m. 713-360-6477. www.thedunlavy.com
