An estate sale is being planned for the iconic Sixth Ward neighborhood restaurant Patrenella's, which closed in May 2020.
Over the course of its 28 years in business at 813 Jackson Hill St., Houston, Patrenella’s Italian Restaurant was known for its old-school Italian atmosphere and on-site garden, which was used to grow the ingredients used in the kitchen. Owner Sammy Patrenella grew up in the building where the eatery was later opened in 1992.
The dining area was filled with memorabilia and photos of family, friends and famous guests, which have included both George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush. Items for sale will include kitchenware, dishes, inside and outside furniture, artwork, light fixtures and holiday decor.
The estate sale and liquidation will take place at the site of the restaurant from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Nov. 13-14.
