Houston diners looking to skip out on cooking this Thanksgiving can choose from a range of restaurants that will remain open during the holiday. Here's a look at the establishments that will open their doors on Thanksgiving Day.

Nobu Houston

The globally renowned Japanese dining concept will serve dinner on Thanksgiving Day from 5 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. The 10,000-square-foot restaurant features a 12-seat sushi bar that offers omakase, Japanese A5 wagyu, sushi maki and a variety of hot and cold Nobu dishes.The Kid

Located in the Heights area, the cocktail bar and kitchen offers elevated comfort food and curated drinks. The menu includes specialty burgers, sirloin rice cakes and queso verde. The drink menu also provides a variety of specialty cocktails, as well as wine, draft and bottled beer. It will be open from 4 p.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving Day.Eunice

Chef Drake Leonard will bring Cajun warmth and Southern comfort to the Thanksgiving table with an a la carte menu featuring Cajun-stuffed turkey and fixings, pumpkin bisque, pumpkin bread pudding and a bourbon pecan pie. An array of family-style dishes will also be available on the to-go menu. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the last seating at 4 p.m.

Le Jardinier


The Michelin-starred restaurant inside the Museum of Fine Arts Houston will have a prix fixe, four-course menu for $185 per guest, including sides for the whole table. The dinner features heritage-roasted turkey and rillette, plus fried Brussels sprouts, mushroom stuffing and mashed potatoes. The restaurant will be open from noon to 7:30 p.m.Roma

For families, the Italian restaurant will have a three-course meal featuring Thanksgiving classics with an Italian twist. The $55 set menu will include a house salad or butternut squash soup for an appetizer, hand-carved turkey breast with gravy, dressing, green bean casserole, candied yams and asparagus for the main course, as well as a choice of pecan or pumpkin pie for dessert.

B&B Butchers

The upscale steakhouse and butcher shop is offering a sit-down experience where guests can enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu for $90 per person on Thanksgiving Day. Main dishes include options for roasted turkey with cornbread and sausage stuffing or roasted prime rib with creamy horseradish and Yorkshire pudding. An appetizer and dessert is also included.The Sunrise House

Open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, The Sunrise House will offer a fall menu with seasonal dishes and festive cocktails. Highlights include a fall board with pumpkin waffles, roasted sweet potatoes and candied pecans; a baked pumpkin filled with sausage, spinach and melted cheese; and a pumpkin sangria made with Crown Apple, cranberry-orange juice and Prosecco.

The Pit Room


Guests can indulge in the barbecue joint's popular 18-pound whole turkeys, which are brined for 48 hours in a blend of brown sugar, sage and apples, and seasoned with a house poultry rub, then smoked over post oak. Other options include whole briskets and smoked hams. Assorted cookies and pre-batched cocktails are also available to purchase. These options are to-go only.Fielding's River Oaks

Located in the Novel River Oaks building, Fielding's will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The upscale American dining establishment will offer a refined holiday experience that includes Green Circle turkey breast, pumpkin spice Parker House rolls and crisp Peking duck breast, with an apple cinnamon crisp for dessert.
