Officials with BeDesign, a Houston retailer specializing in high-end, European home decor items, celebrated the store's 10th anniversary in September by unveiling a new 20,000-square-foot showroom.
BeDesign first opened in 2013 before moving in 2016 to its location in Montrose at 2016 W. Alabama St., Houston. The new showroom, which has been under construction since 2020, represents a quadrupling in size from the site's previous 5,000-square-foot location, according to a Sept. 25 news release.
The shop is run by Ecuadorean natives Adrian Dueñas and Marcelo Saenz, who have 28 combined years of experience in international interior design, according to the release.
“[Houston's] strategic location and business fundamentals have provided us the ideal vantage point to reach an affluent and global clientele—both local and visiting, and many with multiple homes,” Dueñas said in a statement.
