In two upcoming January meetings, the Cy-Fair ISD board of trustees is set to review a handful of policy revisions, as well as receive a presentation about the district’s long-term needs.

At a glance

CFISD’s trustees will meet for a work session Jan. 12 to discuss items on the agenda for its Jan. 15 regular meeting. A large portion of the agenda pertains to revisions to district policies, including:
  • Homebound instruction, revised to account for psychological conditions
  • Student welfare-crisis intervention
  • Instructional materials
  • Attendance
  • Admissions-school safety transfers

Trustees will also receive two presentations during the Jan. 12 work session, one regarding the performance of students with disabilities and a second from the district’s Long Range Planning Committee, per the agenda.


The board is also expected to grant construction and water easements to Harris County Municipal Utility District 130, which spans a portion of Cy-Fair near Cypress Ridge High School, for an upcoming water line project along Taylor Road.
