A project that will widen Cypress North Houston Road from Perry Road to Jones Road is in the design phase, officials with
Harris County Precinct 3 confirmed. The existing two-lane asphalt road will be replaced with a four-lane concrete boulevard with a raised median and an underground storm sewer system. New or upgraded traffic signals are also planned at Autumn Mills Road, Misty Moss Lane and Jones Road. Precinct 3 officials said a construction timeline has not been set, but this project will improve traffic, decrease congestion and result in more functional drainage.
