Harris County Precincts 3 and 4 are working on a joint project to extend Louetta Road from Stablewood Farms Drive to Telge Road as a four-lane concrete boulevard with twin bridges over Cypress Creek. The construction contract was awarded last July, and the project is set to wrap up by next March.
Precinct 3 is funding the work west of the creek, while Precinct 4 is funding the work east of the creek. Officials said the estimated cost of the comprehensive project is $8.8 million.
