Chefs Jennifer Burnett and Kevin Mason launched an initiative called Chefs United HTX last summer as a mentorship and support hub for are chefs. The organization has a commercial kitchen available for local chefs and bakers to rent on Huffmeister Road called The Chef’s Kitchen.
With the success of this project, Burnett and Mason decided to open a market where community members could purchase products made at The Chef’s Kitchen. The Chef’s Bag opened in early 2021 at 7510 Cherry Park Drive, Ste. G, Houston, with a selection of specialty foods, baked goods, sauces and more.
