Guilmart, Lane and Camarena were elected to Positions 5, 6 and 7, respectively, during the Nov. 4 general election, as previously reported by Community Impact.
The overview
Former trustees Scott Henry, Natalie Blasingame and Lucas Scanlon's final board meeting was Nov. 10.
The three new trustees will be sworn in at the start of the Dec. 11 work session, per the agenda. The board is also set to elect a new board president, vice president and secretary Dec. 11.
Other items of note on the agenda for the Dec. 15 regular board meeting include:
- Consider approving campus improvement plans for the 2025-26 school year
- Consider approving several small changes to district policies, including homebound instruction and student welfare and crisis intervention
- Consider approving construction proposals and contracts paid using 2019 bond funds
- Receive a monthly report from the district’s Long Range Planning Committee
The board will discuss the December agenda items during the Dec. 11 work session but will not take action until the Dec. 15 regular meeting.
Both meetings will begin at 6 p.m. in the Mark Henry Administration Building at 11440 Matzke Road, Cypress.
