Cypress had two master-planned communities make RCLCO Real Estate Consulting’s list of the top 50 bestselling master-planned communities for the first half of 2023, according to the July 25 report. Bridgeland secured the sixth position, while Marvida holds the ninth spot on the list.

The Houston metro ranked as the top-performing metropolitan area with 13 communities in the top 50. These communities represented over 4,800 sales in the first half of 2023, accounting for nearly 24% of all sales among the ranked communities, the report stated.

Despite ongoing worries about rising interest rates and affordability issues, a significant majority of master-planned community officials conveyed a positive outlook for sales prospects in the latter half of the year, according to the RCLCO report.
