Officials with Kelsey-Seybold announced Sept. 7 plans to renovate and expand the health care system’s Cypress Clinic by adding a 120,000-square-foot building, according to a news release. Upon completion, the facility will be renamed Northwest Campus.

“The expansion of Cypress Clinic will help us meet the needs of this growing community with coordinated quality, value-based care,” said Dr. Tony Lin, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic chair and CEO, in the release. “The build-out of this expansion and new construction project is part of a long-term plan to help make care more convenient for patients across the Greater Houston area by bringing essential and more specialized care within easy reach of those living and working in this thriving area.”

The campus will include a five-story building and will have space for up to 40 providers in comprehensive adult and pediatric primary care as well as expanded specialty care in gastroenterology, pulmonary, pain management, colorectal surgery, cosmetic surgery, otolaryngology, audiology and behavioral health.

The project also includes space for an ambulatory surgery center to be built in the future. The center will feature four operating rooms, three endoscopy suites and one procedure room to support interventional pain management and interventional radiology services, officials said.

Plans also include a larger on-site Kelsey Pharmacy as well as additional diagnostic imaging and testing services.

Cypress Clinic first opened in 2019 at 13105 Wortham Center Drive, Houston.
