VGXI announced in an Aug. 17 news release the grand opening date of its new headquarters and expanded manufacturing facility in Conroe.

VGXI is a contract developer and manufacturer of nucleic acid biopharmaceuticals, including gene therapies, DNA vaccines and RNA medicines. According to previous reporting, the company was originally based in The Woodlands until VGXI announced the purchase of land in Conroe in August 2020.

The headquarters is at Deison Technology Park in Conroe and spans 21 acres, according to previous reporting. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Oct. 7, according to an Aug. 17 release.

“We are confident VGXI will continue to meet the growing industry demand for these next-generation medicines,” VGXI CEO Young Park said in the release.
