Just Between Friends

Just Between Friends will host a pop-up resale event for The Woodlands and Conroe area. The event will include over 200,000 items in good condition for 50%-90% off retail, neatly organized like a department store. Some items for sale will include clothing—sizes for infants through juniors—shoes, accessories, toys, baby gear, books, puzzles and games.

Woodforest Charity Run

Woodforest will host a charity run that will include a 10K run/walk sponsored by Insperity Invitational and a 5K run/walk sponsored by Convergint. Attendees are welcome to enjoy a family-friendly post race party with music, food and beverages, fun jumps, snow cones, and an awards ceremony. Proceeds benefit the Woodforest Charitable Foundation.Montgomery Music in the Park

The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce will host the inaugural Montgomery Music in the Park festival with a main stage lineup of artists, including headliner Chad Cooke Band, Hayden Haddock, Payton Howie and Tre Gauthreaux. The event will also feature more than 40 vendors, a kids area, wine and beer gardens, wine slushies, and food trucks.

Conroe ISD art show


Conroe ISD's district art show open house will feature more than 400 pieces of student artwork from all grade levels across the Grand Oaks, Oak Ridge, Conroe, Caney Creek, The Woodlands and College Park high school feeder zones. The open house is a come-and-go event, but artists and art teachers from each feeder zone will be appearing at select times.Park at Pine Market carnival

The Park at Pine Market in Woodforest will hold its grand opening with a carnival for the community to enjoy. Activities include rides, carnival games, inflatables, juggling acts and a DJ. Face painters and balloon artists as well as giveaways from local businesses will also be part of the day's activities. The event is open to the public. Texwood Shows will host its fall Montgomery County Home and Outdoor Living Show that will include special guest appearances and more than 100 exhibitors with the latest in-home products and services on the market.

Fiestas Patrias

The Fiestas Patrias celebration of Latino culture sponsored by the Montgomery County Democratic Party will include live cultural music and folklorico dancers, Latin food trucks, and children's activities, such as a bouncy house, face painting and a photo booth. Attendees can also connect with other individuals and organizations working to create a more inclusive community, according to a news release from the Latio Outreach Committee of the Montgomery County Democratic Party.
