There are a number of local events worth checking out in the Conroe and Montgomery area this weekend.

April 2: Run a 5k, celebrate with beer

The Miles for Meals 5K and 10K starts and ends at B-52 Brewery for a morning of food trucks and beer while raising money for Meals on Wheels. In addition to the 5K and 10K, there is a 5K for children age 12 and younger. April 2: Support small businesses

April 2: Attend a car show

April 2: Attend a job fair

April 2: Have family fun

The Conroe ISD Early Childhood Resource Fair will give parents the opportunity to register prekindergarten and kindergarten students, with the event asking to bring student’s birth certificate, proof of residence, proof of guardianship, social security card and immunization record.
