The Conroe burger restaurant Burger Fresh and More is celebrating its 25th year in business in 2022, according to owner James Canada.
Canada, the restaurant's third owner since its 1997 opening, bought Burger Fresh in 2018. In addition to its classic hamburgers, served with a variety of toppings, Burger Fresh also serves shakes and handmade onion rings and spicy fries.
Since he took over, Canada has added further menu options, including chicken and catfish po'boys as well as diet and keto options. He described the restaurant's atmosphere as that of a 1950s diner.
"We've got the red seat [and] the '50s decor," Canada said.
