Tree Lighting Ceremony
The city of Conroe Parks and Recreation will mark the start of the Christmas season in Conroe with a tree lighting ceremony. Christmas on Main follows the tree lighting with many downtown businesses on Main Street staying open late, offering activities, shopping and concessions.

This annual holiday event will have food and drinks, a holiday tree lighting, live nativity animals, a DJ, fire juggling elves, and a mechanical reindeer. Santa will also be available for photos with children.

The Montgomery Country Holiday Extravaganza will host a holiday market event with women's and children's clothing; home, holiday and garden decor; gourmet food items; handmade and fashion jewelry; and fashion trucks.

Montgomery will be continuing its holiday tradition at Cedar Brake Park, which will be decorated by local businesses and residents. The event will also feature music photo opportunities with Santa, and children will have the option to write letters to the North Pole.

This event by the Montgomery Historical Society will feature a holiday marketplace with vendors near the Old Community Building at 14420 Liberty St., along with a cookie walk and a candlelight tour of historic buildings. At 10 a.m., the city of Montgomery’s Christmas parade will showcase civic organizations, school spirit and other participating groups through Historic Downtown Montgomery.

Conroe is hosting a holiday event featuring doughnuts with Santa and nutcracker-themed activities. Activities include face painting, crafts and a Christmas movie. Families will take turns taking photos with Santa. Early registration is encouraged.
