Tree Lighting Ceremony

The city of Conroe Parks and Recreation will mark the start of the Christmas season in Conroe with a tree lighting ceremony. Christmas on Main follows the tree lighting with many downtown businesses on Main Street staying open late, offering activities, shopping and concessions.Deck the Pines in Woodforest

This annual holiday event will have food and drinks, a holiday tree lighting, live nativity animals, a DJ, fire juggling elves, and a mechanical reindeer. Santa will also be available for photos with children.Montgomery County Mistletoe Market

The Montgomery Country Holiday Extravaganza will host a holiday market event with women's and children's clothing; home, holiday and garden decor; gourmet food items; handmade and fashion jewelry; and fashion trucks.Light up the park

Montgomery will be continuing its holiday tradition at Cedar Brake Park, which will be decorated by local businesses and residents. The city of Conroe will celebrate Christmas with photo booths with Santa, vendor booths, inflatables, snow slides, stage performances and concessions.Historic Montgomery Christmas

This event by the Montgomery Historical Society will feature a holiday marketplace with vendors near the Old Community Building at 14420 Liberty St., along with a cookie walk and a candlelight tour of historic buildings. At 10 a.m., the city of Montgomery’s Christmas parade will showcase civic organizations, school spirit and other participating groups through Historic Downtown Montgomery.

Conroe is hosting a holiday event featuring doughnuts with Santa and nutcracker-themed activities. Activities include face painting, crafts and a Christmas movie. Families will take turns taking photos with Santa. Early registration is encouraged.

Willis Christmas Parade

The Willis Christmas parade lineup will start on Wildkat Drive. Anyone interested in participating can register for free online.Montgomery Snow Party

The city of Montgomery will host its third annual snow party with a snow hill to sled down and play on as well as food and drink vendors.Lake Conroe Christmas boat parade

During the Lake Conroe Christmas boat parade, community members can gather to watch Lake Conroe boat owners showcase their decorated boats for Christmas. This event will also feature music and fireworks.Holiday flick and float

Conroe Parks and Recreation will host a movie night in its heated pool and will be featuring “The Polar Express” with hot chocolate.
