A Texas A&M University student organization has partnered with YouTube personality Jimmy Donaldson, known best as "MrBeast," to expand access to medical care in underserved communities around the world.
How we got here
BUILD, a student-run nonprofit founded in 2013, converts shipping containers into portable medical clinics, which are deployed internationally. As of 2026, students have raised more than $1.5 million and recruited tens of thousands of Aggie students to help build these container clinics.
The organization currently has 60 Texas Aggie Medical Clinics, or TAMCs. Most can be found in Texas communities, but 20 developing countries receive help from TAMCs, according to BUILD.
