Outside of bond-related action items, trustees will also consider:
- Purchase in excess of $50,000: Trustees will consider replacing a boiler at Neal Elementary School. Bids disclosed in agenda materials show the replacement will cost up to $162,833.
- High school math materials: Trustees will consider approval of new high school math instructional materials as part of the district’s ongoing curriculum review process.
- According to agenda materials, the Instructional Materials and Technology Allotment, established by Texas’ 82nd Legislature in 2011, is outside of the available school fund. It specifically funds instructional materials, technology equipment and related software systems.
- Compliance survey: Board members will review certification of the district’s instructional materials compliance survey for the 2026-27 school year.
Also on the agendaThe meeting is also expected to highlight student achievements and board member reports, including Davila Middle School’s partnership with Texas A&M University through the Presidential Artificial Intelligence Challenge.
