6Whiskey
Blending Western style with modern retail, 6Whiskey offers a mix of clothing, shoes, accessories, and home goods, featuring brands such as Tecovas and Old Gringo.
A longstanding presence in College Station, Charli has been part of the community for nearly 52 years. Founded in 1974, the boutique continues to evolve while maintaining its legacy. At its 50th anniversary celebration, the mayors of Bryan and College Station dubbed July 12 “Charli Light Day” in honor of its owner.
Founded in 2016, DeGallery celebrates the therapeutic approach to art. Owner Dr. Dary Dega was a medical researcher when she turned to art as a creative outlet and built a gallery and studio space for all to enjoy.
What began as a food truck in 2018 has grown into a brick-and-mortar location in Bryan. Known for its comfort food, JLM’s is a woman- and Black-owned establishment focused on home-style cooking. JLM is an homage to owner Juanita Brown Christian and her daughters Lacey and Margo, who have since passed away, according to JLM’s website.
This Bryan-based studio offers cycling and pilates classes in a high-energy, community-driven environment. Owned by Lindsay Greening, the fitness studio focuses on creating a fun and safe space for all fitness levels. They also offer discounts for students, military members and teachers, among others.
Run by mother-daughter duo Janis and Meredith, Sabi Boutique has served College Station since opening its storefront in 2012. The shop has earned multiple awards in the Brazos Valley for its offerings. They sell women's fashion, jewelry, home decor and gifts.
SimpLEE Sugar Cookies
Specializing in custom-decorated cookies, the Bryan-based business turns baked goods into edible art, offering personalized designs for customers. SimpLEE Sugar Cookies does not have a storefront or any upcoming pop-ups at this time.
The Great CakeryOriginally founded in West Texas, The Great Cakery has since made Aggieland its home, offering custom cakes for any occasion. The Great Cakery is a home-based business.
Designed for remote workers and entrepreneurs, The Work Lounge provides flexible office space, memberships and private work areas.
Owned by Kaleigh Bowman and Nayokia Lyons, Tone 360 Fitness offers a range of workout classes in College Station. While not women-exclusive, workouts are women-led. This studio offers engaging cycling, pilates, yoga and strength training classes, among others. Bowman and Lyons also host several events throughout the year, boosting other local businesses and creating community connections.
Local group Women Entrepreneurs in BCS highlights and connects women-owned businesses across the area through social media and community engagement. It was founded by Marie-Ann Holland, who also operates The Work Lounge.
