The park regained power on July 16 after Hurricane Beryl caused widespread power outages, flooding and damages after landing in the Greater Houston region on July 8.
City staff worked to restore the pool's chemical levels and ensure the facility was ready for visitors, according to the announcement.
What residents should know
The next scheduled community event at Colonial Park pool will be held July 27 for West U Olympics, according to the city's website. The event is free for members only and will last from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
