Cities within Houston's Inner Loop will host several events over the April 26-28 weekend that include celebrating culture, history and nature. This list is not comprehensive.

Adult Congenital Heart Association Walk

This active fundraising event features a 1-mile walk through Houston’s Memorial Park picnic loop to raise $35,000 for advocacy efforts, research, educational programs and resources for the community.

Earth Day 2024

The Houston Arboretum hosts an event to celebrate Earth Day with family-friendly activities. Attendees can learn about plants and animals, take part in a scavenger hunt, and explore interactive activities and crafts.Bellaire citywide garage sale

The Bellaire Culture and Arts Board is bringing the restored arts and crafts festival to the city with over 75 vendors, food options, activities for children and live music. Beer and wine will be available at the event. Dogs are allowed on a leash.Spring Fling Festival

The Nature Discovery Center in Bellaire will celebrate springtime with a fun, informative and family-friendly event. Guests can browse the native plant sale for pollinator friendly plants, listen to live music, participate in nature-based crafts and activities, take a guided walk or have a hands-on animal encounter.Urban Cowboy Hoedown

The Heritage Society and Friends of the River Oaks Theatre will celebrate Sam Houston's Park 125th Anniversary with a free showing of Urban Cowboy followed by dancing and live country music featuring Sam Turner and the Cactus Cats.Brew Fest

The Houston Brew Fest will feature over 50 breweries and 150 beers as well as food trucks, live music and lawn games. Admission includes samplings from participating breweries. The event is for those 21 years old and up.Houston Toy Museum Book Fair


The Houston Toy Museum will host a book fair that includes the appearance of local authors, book reading and various activities for children.
