New Chinese restaurant Yaya Rice Box opens in Meyerland

A new Chinese restaurant has officially opened on March 25 in Meyerland, according to the restaurant's social media.

Yaya Rice Box is an authentic Chinese rice box restaurant serving delicious and affordable meals perfect for takeout, lunch and catering services, according to the company's website.

Yaya Rice Box serves cuisine such as chili oil dumplings and dan dan noodles. Those who like spice can get sichuan pork or beef mala pot or classic Chinese dishes such as mapo tofu, salt and pepper shrimp and Hunan chicken.

The restaurant also offers milk teas such as taro and creme brulee, fruit teas such as a dragonfruit and a lychee green tea and cold smoothies such as a blueberry strawberry and honeydew with milk foam. Customers can add toppings such as chewy tapioca boba, mango jelly, mango pudding and strawberry noodle jelly to all drinks.

Dessert includes snow ice, a shaved ice dessert popular in Asian countries such as Taiwan, with flavors such as mango, strawberry and matcha jelly.
