The Pickleball Spot now offering open play, tournaments at new courts in Bellaire area

The Pickleball Spot, a new indoor pickleball facility, is now open near the city of Bellaire offering open play, events and tournaments.

The details

The facility features three indoor pickleball courts and two large skills training areas, owner Arthur Romero said. It is open daily, offering a combination of open play and court reservations.

Court reservations start at $30, while open play sessions start at $10, officials said. Memberships are also available.

The facility also features a lounge area with view of the courts.

Digging in

Facility owners said they have also organized the business's first beginners and intermediate tournaments, which will take place on Oct. 27 and Nov. 3, respectively. Officials said they plan to host similar tournaments on a monthly basis moving forward.
