According to Houston Transtar, several feeders along I-45 are closed.
Three southbound I-45 frontage lanes at Dixie Farm Road are closed, as are three southbound frontage lanes to the southeast at Clear Lake City Boulevard.
Additionally, three southbound I-45 frontage lanes from FM 518 to Holland Road and one northbound frontage lane from Hwy. 96 to FM 518 are also closed due to high water.
High water has been reported where Clear Creek runs beneath I-45 and where the creek intersects with Bay Area Boulevard at Lynn Gripon Park at Countryside in League City.
In Friendswood, high water has been reported where Cloverfield Drive meets Cowart Creek and where Hwy. 35 meets Chigger Creek and Moore Road.
Houston Transtar warned residents to avoid driving in these areas.
