Package 8 Asphalt Reconstruction
Project: “Package 8” is set to tentatively include asphalt rehabilitations for Bern, Boden and Austin streets, with possible add-on alternates on Seventh Street and Landrum Avenue.
Update: The project has not yet gone out for bid.

- Cost: estimated to cost $1.85M, but may have to phase construction due to budget constraints

Project: This is a full intersection rebuild at FM 518 and Country Lane, including signal upgrades, mast arm installation and safety enhancements.
- Cost: construction budget $504,000
- Timeline: estimated construction start in March, depending on delivery of traffic signal equipment; completion slated for fall 2026
- Funding source: city reinvestment cash fund
Project: Work includes a redesign of the intersection to add additional lanes and adjust drainage.
Update: Permitting from the Texas Department of Transportation is expected by the end of 2025 or early 2026.
