The Texas Department of Transportation is collecting feedback on its Gulf Freeway Planning and Environmental Linkages Study via an online survey available through July 29.

According to the website, the Gulf Freeway PEL study focuses on the segment of I-45 that runs between I-69/Hwy. 59 in downtown Houston and Beltway 8 South. The online survey will allow the public to provide feedback on the study, which TxDOT will use it to develop its purpose and need statement for the year.

There is a series of issues survey participants can provide feedback on, including adding general- or special-use lanes, reconfiguring ramps, improving crossing routes and extending the light rail.
