UIL Texas State Wrestling Tournament

The UIL Texas State Wrestling Tournament features the top high school wrestlers in Texas. Concessions, including Chick-fil-A sandwiches, brisket sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, nachos, chips, candy, popcorn, pretzels, soft drinks and water, will be available throughout the arena.

59th annual Go Texan Parade

The Houston Metro Go Texan Committee along with the Conroe, Willis and The Woodlands subcommittee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will present the 59th annual Go Texan Parade. The parade celebrates the kickoff of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo with hundreds of horseback riders, unique floats, marching bands and elected officials in attendance.Wags & Whiskers Brunch

Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston will raise money by hosting this animal-lovers event, which features a pet fashion show, silent auction and "Bow Wow West" theme at Hotel Zaza in the Museum District. Proceeds will benefit the organization’s Animeals program, providing pet food and preventative vet care for the dogs and cats of homebound seniors and disabled adults.

Open Mic Night and Kurbside Eats

The Houston Zoo event raises funds for the zoo's efforts to save wildlife in Texas. The cowboy-themed event features a bunch with cocktails, additional bites from Tiff's Treats and Whataburger, a chance to interact with zookeepers and ambassador animals, a silent auction, and a jewelry pull.
