Three Democratic candidates are running for Congressional District 14 in the upcoming March primaries.
The overview
Thurman Bill Bartie, Richard G. Davis and Konstantinos Vogiatzis will compete for the Democratic nomination.
The winning Democratic candidate will face the winner of the Republican primary in November, and the winner of that election will begin serving District 14 in January 2027.
Incumbent Randy Weber and Jessica Forgy are vying for the Republican nomination.
Members of the U.S. House of Representatives are elected for a two-year term with no term limits.
Following congressional redistricting, which will take effect in January 2027, District 14 will cover portions of southeast Houston into Galveston.
