Galveston County residents have one last opportunity to provide feedback on the county’s hazard mitigation plan.

The news was announced in a Feb. 10 press release from League City. The county has been working with 11 of its municipalities to help form the plan and is now seeking input from its residents. The public comment period is open and will close Feb. 17.

The hazard mitigation plan helps deal with disasters such as flooding, hurricanes, utility outages and severe storms, according to the city’s website.

Residents looking to give feedback can find the survey here and can view the plan here. Residents may submit as many comments as they like.
