Twilight Zone: Hidden Wonders of the Ocean
Artechouse Houston presents an immersive exhibition in collaboration with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, the world's leading ocean research organization. Through stunning visuals and an original score, this exhibition blends scientific discovery with digital artistic expression, revealing the universe of the ocean.
Bayou City Art Festival
Hundreds of artists from across the nation will showcase artwork from 19 different disciplines at Memorial Park. Festival-goers can meet artists, hear live music, eat at local food trucks and enjoy a kids' area with interactive crafts, as well as culinary arts demonstrations.
4th Annual Houston Bluesfest
Generations of Houston blues artists will perform an afternoon of live music. Artists include Mathias Lattin, Trudy Lynn, Jonn Del Toro Richardson, Leonard “Lowdown” Brown and the Cris Crochemore Band, plus special guests and the Houston Blues All-Star Finale.
Color Factory’s Haunted Hues
In this Halloween-themed installation, guests can explore the Color Factory Lobby Pumpkin, a themed confetti room, a gaggle of spine-tingling but playful spiders in the signature ball pit, hauntingly fun photo ops and a Ghostly Gradient.
Art After Dark
Silver Street Studios will bring together Houston art, music, technology and culture at this inaugural after-hours experience. Guests will experience projection mapping, immersive installations and live entertainment and enjoy food and cocktails. Proceeds will benefit Fresh Arts. Houston rapper Mike Jones will headline the event.
Riedel Wine Glass Experience
The 11th-generation wine glassmaker, Maximilian Riedel, will host an educational glass experience. For adults 21 and up, Riedel will guide participants through tastings to experience the difference that the glass shape makes to overall wine enjoyment.
