Houstonians invited to come out and support local businesses Dec. 10-11 at Midtown Houston's annual Mistletoe Market, featuring 17 local vendors offering handmade, holiday-themed gifts.
Gift types at the outdoor market range from upcycled vintage china to floral arrangements to handmade woodworking items. The event will also include food, craft activities, and holiday performances by Houkulele and Houston Masterworks Chorus.
“Our Mistletoe Market is more important than ever because it provides a chance to support small business owners and create a sense of community as we safely return to holiday gatherings,” said Cynthia Alvarado, operations manager of the Midtown Management District, in a press release.
The market runs from 5-10 p.m. Dec. 10 and from noon-8 p.m. Dec. 11 at Bagby Park. Farther north, the recently unveiled Winter Wanderland attraction can be found on Bagby between Franklin and Lamar streets, featuring more than 100,000 holiday lights.
